The MENu event is being hosted by the Progressive Action Committee of Kentucky (PAC). We are an advocacy group of local women who support civil rights and progressive causes. Our goal is to provide help and support for citizens and community organizations struggling with an uncertain future in our current political climate. We identified the Fairness Campaign as the beneficiary of our first fundraiser and hope to support other organizations through similar events in the future.

The MENu event will feature notable men of the community as “chefs” for an evening, providing their own food, and serving up their favorite dishes to benefit this great cause! Throughout the night, a silent auction will also be in full swing, with goods and services donated by local businesses with all the proceeds benefiting the Fairness Campaign. There will be great music, wine and food while you mingle and place your silent bids. For a sneak preview, click here.

Founded in 1991, the Fairness Campaign is a broad-based community effort dedicated to equal rights. Its primary goal is comprehensive civil rights legislation prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. The Fairness Campaign accomplishes its goals through public education and advocacy, political activity, community building and reciprocal alliances with others in the social justice community.

Throughout the night, a silent auction will be in full swing with all proceeds going to the Fairness Campaign.
